The Center, working with business, community, and government leaders, is creating a long-range strategic plan and vision for the Houston region.
Center for Houston’s Future is focused on understanding future global trends and their impact on the Greater Houston Region, brings business, government, and community stakeholders together to engage in fact-based strategic planning, collaboration, and action on issues critical to our region’s long-term success.
The Vision
Working with business, community, and government leaders, we are creating a long-range stratgeic plan and vision for the Houston region that looks out 5 to 25 years. We will share an aspirational vision and roadmap for a thriving region for all, which will highlight great work already underway and detail next-generation solutions for critical focus areas.
Our Process
We collected data and integrated input from diverse voices across our region. Our Vision 2050 Steering Committee– comprised of distinguished business, community, and government leaders- is guiding these collaborative efforts to ensure our vision reflects the aspirations and priorities of all Houstonians.
Expert working teams are conducting deep dives into each pillar, creating visionary roadmaps with creative, next-generation solutions. these comprehensive plans will be combined into one compelling multimedia story revealing what our region can and should become.
