Center for Houston’s Future is proud to cosponsor the inaugural event of a climate-focused series organized by the Resilient Business Forum (a project of Global Affairs Associates, LLC).
“Impact Investing vs. ESG Investing: Do you know the difference?” is a panel discussion by practitioners in institutional investment, private equity, and philanthropic foundations. The purpose is to provide concrete examples of these three types of responsible investing by active practitioners in order to compare and contrast them.
This topic is inspired by growing interest—and common areas of confusion—about this field. Specifically, the event aims to spark informative discussions among participants regarding impact and ESG investing and create a deeper understanding of the role they play in shaping investment trends.
Kevin Pasha of J.P. Morgan (institutional investor perspective)
Jamila Yamani of Climate Impact Capital (private equity perspective)
Michael Menendez of the Southern Impact Investing Alliance (philanthropic perspective)
5:30 - 6:00 pm: Networking and Registration
6:00 - 7:00 pm: Panel Discussion and Q&A
