Houston Have Your Say Town Hall Forum

Houston is having its say once again - this time on the Public Education Crisis.

“Our public education system is at a crossroads of diversity, advances in technology and a global-based economy. We must act soon to make our public schools the example for others to follow,” said Center CEO and President, Catherine Mosbacher. “We hope to bring positive and measurable change in our region by keeping people engaged in this fundamental issue.”

In preparation for the April 20th televised Town-Hall Forum Houston Have Your Say, a special public dialogue on April 7 entitled 'Building Bridges from Business to Schools to Address our Education Crisis' was held at Rice University. Several ISD Superintendents and officers participated as panelists. They were:
  • Dr. David Anthony (Cypress Fairbanks)
  • Dr. Wanda Bamberg (Aldine)
  • Dr. Sharon Boutwell (Katy ISD Assistant Superintendent for Leadership and Organization Development)
  • Dr. Vickey Giles (Sheldon)
  • Dr. Chuck Morris (Houston Deputy Chief Academic Officer)
  • Dr. Guy Sconzo (Humble)
