| Center for Houston’s Future Board Adds New Directors to 2010 Slate |

HOUSTON- February 23, 2010 The year 2010 is certainly brimming with freshness at the Center for Houston’s Future. A 10th Year Anniversary, a new Chairman, its first-ever Symposium, and the addition of eight new members to its Board of Directors, are all heralding a year to be remembered in its history.
The new faces on a Board that is already full of talent, include Christopher Barbic, Founder and Head of YES Prep Public Schools, a charter management organization that exists to increase the number of low-income students who graduate from four-year colleges, and who are prepared to compete in the global marketplace; Astley Blair, a Division Finance Officer responsible for the finance and business services in support of Global Supply and Trading at Chevron; Dan Bellow, President of Jones Lang LaSalle-Houston, a financial and professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate services and investment management; and Harry Gee, Jr., Founding Principal of Harry Gee, Jr. and Associates, a law firm based in Houston, where he has practiced immigration law for more than 40 years.
Also joining the Board of Directors is Mae C. Jemison, President of the technology design and consulting company, The Jemison Group, and the first African American woman to go into space; Larry Kellner, former Chairman/CEO of Continental Airlines, and now president of the Emerald Creek Group, a private equity Houston-based firm; Evalyn Moore, Office Manager for Hilmar Moore Cattle Co., Moore & Morrison Cattle Co., and the JFD Cattle Company, and the First Lady of the City of Richmond; and Bruce Tough, an attorney engaged in the legal practice of civil trial litigation at the Tough Law Firm, and a Director of The Woodlands Township.
